The Scottish Junior Orienteering Squad has announced their arrival. About 28 young orienteers between 13-18 years and their leaders have chosen this year to run Sørlandsgaloppen as part of their development as orienteers. They are all welcome and we hope they will get some rewarding days on Sørlandet (the South Coast), together with many other summerhappy orienteers.
It is now clear that the SprintPrologue on Thursday 5th July gets status as a race in the new Norway Cup Sprint. For both seniors and juniors. The SprintPrologue is in the center of Kristiansand, The arena in Tresse and Christiansholm Fortress. Former national coach Jarle Ausland promises varied and fast tracks.
Are you between 15 and 20 years? Join the Camp SG 2012 and Sørlandsgaloppen. We continue with success from 2010 with many good orienteeringsessions, swimming, fun and games for one week in southern Norway. Leadershirts, shirts for points, gps tracking, pursuit, great prizes and speaker team focused on young people.

Kristiansand Feriesenter Dvergsnestangen offers accommodation and a good place to be during Sørlandsgaloppen. A four-star campsite suitable for family activities in the middle of Kristiansand ARCHIPELAGO. The camp is located 12 km from Kristiansand city center, 10 km from the event center of Sørlandsgaloppen.

Are you between 15 and 20 years old? - Join us at Camp SG! In the beginning of the Sørlandsgaloppen-week, we are arranging Camp SG for the youngsters between 15 and 20 years old. It`s a youth O-camp with lots of orienteering and other fun. Together with old and new O-friends, it will be possibilities to try paddling, boat trip, beach volley and other games, beach party / barbeque and a trip to Kristiansand Zoo / Badelandet. And all this is in addition to good possibilities for orienteering trainings. You will get many tips on how to master the terrain ahead of the final competition in Sørlandsgaloppen. Sørlandsgaloppen continues with Trimtex Cup, Leader Shirt, Point Shirt, nice prizes and a speaker, who concentrates on the youth-classes.
